How much is shipping?

FREE SHIPPING only applies to the lower 48 states and does not include Alaska, Hawaii, or anywhere outside the USA

All shipments within the contiguous USA are FREE except for the items from Nutrients & Soils category, as well as Wholesale orders and items requiring Freight Delivery are not considering FREE Shipping orders.

For those items, the shipping fee for each order is based on the package weight, package dimensions, delivery destination, and shipping method. The shopping cart of calculate the shipping rate during the checkout process. Please add your items to your shopping cart and the total of your shipping fees, if any, will be added to your final price. reserves the right to notify you of any additional shipping charges necessary to deliver your order. We do our best to ensure that shipping is accurately calculated in your shopping cart at the time of purchase, however, at times, it may not be possible to do so accurately (e.g. rural delivery locations, shipments requiring multiple pallets, living on an island, etc.). Should this occur, you’d be notified of any additional charges necessary to deliver your order. If you are notified of any additional charges, you will have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund.


Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii and International Locations?

We are happy to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and other countries, but unfortunately additional shipping will be charged for all orders. For international orders, you will additionally be responsible for import fees and local taxes upon arrival.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

No. Please provide a street address, not a PO Box. Our shipping partners do not deliver to PO boxes. If an order goes undelivered for this reason, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges. If the order has to be canceled, we will deduct a 25% restocking fee and the total shipping charges from your refund.


Will you send an Order Confirmation?

Yes. After placing an order online, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. Should the item purchased be unavailable, not in stock or have a longer than usual lead time, a member of our team will reach out via phone or e-mail to find a probable solution.


How long does it take for an order to arrive?

Most orders are shipped the same day or the next day, depending on what time we receive the order. strives for fast fulfillment rates. Shipping from more than 15 warehouses cuts down on transit time to you, which means you get the products you need fast. Orders always ship from the closest warehouse with stock available to the delivery address. In order to minimize the wait, we may have the item drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer/ distributor.

Orders out of stock, wholesale, special and orders shipped via Freight may require more days to process. We will notify you when you should expect your order if takes more than 1-2 business days before shipping.

If you order more than one item, we’ll make every effort to send available items together. Depending on availability and if the order is shipped directly from the manufacturer/distributor, an order may ship from several locations. If we decide to break your order into multiple packages, you will NOT incur any additional freight/shipping charges. Tracking information will be provided for each individual shipment. The bottom line is that we value your business, and we will do everything possible to ensure that your order gets to you as quickly as possible.

Please note that all transit times are promised from the time the order has shipped, not from the time the order was placed.

Deliveries are made Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm, there is no Saturday/Sunday service available.

Sometimes delivery may take longer time during busy periods. There are certain circumstances that may occur that are not within our control (natural disasters, holidays, weather, etc.). These situations may result in a delay in the shipping of your order. For these reasons, we are unable to guarantee the exact delivery time of your order. Besides, we are NOT responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance process.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country. We have no control over them and cannot predict what they may be. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient and are solely responsibility of the buyer. is not responsible for the loss resulting from non-payment of customs.


How about Curbside Delivery (Freight/LTL Shipping)?

This shipping method is reserved for Full and Half Truckloads and for large, heavy, or oversized items like, flood trays, large tents, oversized reflectors, commercial air conditioners/dehumidifiers, etc. They must be sent via independent freight carriers. These select items are palletized, loaded onto a large truck for shipment and delivered by scheduled appointment with a lift-gate for to-the-curb service.

Here are a few things you should note:

The trucking service will contact you typically 1-2 days before delivery to schedule the delivery time. If you make an appointment with the trucking company, please be aware if you are not there to accept delivery, a redelivery fee may be charged by the trucking company, and it is not the responsibility of Grow Light Central.

The delivery driver will deliver your items curbside of your home. They are not responsible for taking the product onto your driveway or into your home. Therefore, moving the item from curbside may require your assistance. You can always ask the driver to assist you, and they may, but they are not required. Special services are the responsibility of the customer, we do not pay for any storage fees that the trucking company may charge, if you do not take immediate delivery of your item.

Very heavy items will require a forklift to move them from the curbside to their permanent location. You can contact a local contractor to help you with this.

Please be there to sign for the delivery and inspect the item for potential damages. OPEN SHIPMENT IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF DRIVER. If you suspect any damage upon delivery, please mark the bill of laden - SUBJECT TO INSPECTION, so any issues may be corrected or parts replaced. Please contact Grow Light Central immediately to report any damages or issues.

Shipment time is generally 3-7 business days. Please understand that some areas are not serviced daily.


What if a buyer Refuses the Shipment?

If the recipient refuses to sign the package provided after we warned him it would cost us a lot to get the package back, we won't take any responsibility if the package gets destroyed by the shipping company or is lost. In addition you will be responsible for full freight charges and applicable fees going both ways and a minimum 25% restocking fee for shipments that are refused for any reason other than the shipment was damaged in transit (not applicable to items damaged in storage) or if the shipping error was made by


Can I have a tracking number?

Yes, we will send you the tracking number provided by our suppliers. We update the tracking number once our system updates. For all orders shipped via Freight/LTL Shipping, we will contact you with more information and how to make an appointment for the delivery. The shipping information will be uploaded in your account as well, so we do recommend you create one with us.


Can I ship to an Alternate Address?

The best-case scenario is your billing address to correspond to your shipping address. Orders with different billing and shipping addresses may require longer processing times due to additional verification procedures. The added verification and processing time is in an effort to protect our customers and from online fraud in a card absent environment. Providing inaccurate or false information may result in additional delays as we attempt to verify the provided information.


Do you offer Discreet Order Packaging?

Most orders placed through ship in a plain box with no graphics or text except the shipping label.


Is a Signature Required for my order?

Due to the valuable contents of some shipments, may require a signature upon delivery. Such guidelines will not be overruled upon the customer's request. Many of our third-party shipping carriers require signatures upon delivery to protect against fraud and theft.


How about the Back-orders?

In the unlikely event we are unable to ship your order completely, we reserve the right to ship the stock we have and back-order the items we’re unable to ship. You will not be charged additional shipping charges for the back-ordered item(s).

If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you. We will let you know when the item is expected to be available again and will give you the option of waiting for the item to ship or having the order removed from your order for a refund.

To cancel a back-ordered item, contact customer service and we can further assist you.


My order shows delivered, but I do not have it, now what?

If your tracking number shows delivered on the shipping company’s website but you don’t have it, please do the following:

  • Check the area around your home for the package and ask anyone it may have been left with.
  • If the package is not found please contact us at 224-391-6656 as soon as possible.

Occasionally there may be a mix-up in the warehouse and you may have received an incorrect tracking number. If the tracking number is correct, we will contact the shipper to report a missing package.

Prime Grower can not be held responsible for packages stolen from the delivery address so please be sure to ship to a secure location!
